The word “Denim” comes from the name of a fabric that was first made in the city of “Nimes, France”,by the Andre family. It was originally called “Serge de Nimes”. Traditionally coloured blue with indigo dye to make blue jeans, although “jean” formerly denoted a different, lighter, cotton fabric. The contemporary use of the word “jeans” comes from the french word for “Genoa”, Italy(Genes), where the first denim trousers were made.

In recent times, we have discovered so many new ways of appreciating the “Denim” material. Designers have made the material so loved by pairing it in different ways. Here are some ways you can try to wear yours.


Denim on Denim: Depending on how fashionable you are,you should be careful while doing this because so many people end up making a disaster of it. Try pairing with similar shades.
