#Review: Citro Clear Concentrated Serum With Lemon Extracts

Finally the review of this product has come to stay. Its been so long mehhn, i have been thinking about how i'm gonna go about it. Citro Clear Lightening Serum is one of those product I've used many months ago and didn't take its photos before using them and finally disposing them off...

I decided to go buy it from the market yesterday just so i can take photos of it, i have already used it and the experience is still fresh in my memories. And yes, Ama give this one out to my brother or someone else, i don't intend using it once again.

I came across Citro Clear Lightening Serum when my classmate Parry, told me about serums. It was the first time i heard about it, i wanted to try it out and see if its really true. I headed up to the market and stopped by a little store and asked for serums. They showed me several serums tho, i ended up choosing Citro Clear Lightening Serum....I decided to mix it up with Vaseline Healthy White Lotion (A mild skin lightening lotion like Nivea fair & Jergens Fair)

I wanna confess...Lol. The guy that sold this serum to me warned me never to pour all of it into the lotion, he told me to add just half of it and see how it tones me. But hey! i was just so greedy to take his advice, my hunger for a very light skin back then made me turn it all into Vaseline Healthy White Lotion and made it very watery, And yep! very concentrated.

I used the mixture for 1 month & will be sharing my experience with you guys bellow.


ACTIVENESS:

Citro Clear Lightening Serum erases the brown mask and unifies the complexion with its lemon concentrate, your skin regains moisture, clarity and softness.
It really worked very fast, the 7days result promise on the pack wasn't a blatant lie. I was loving my new beautiful skin until 7 days later, i started seeing funny things on my skin...Lol. You wanna know what happened? Keep on reading, You'll find out.


TEXTURE & SMELL:

Just like any other serum out there, Citro Clear Lightening Serum was kinda oily, it's very light & not molten. I remember when i tried dropping little drops of it to my knees & knuckles, A little drop of it can spread really wider than you can ever imagine, Yes...I mean like petrol (PMS).

It smells exactly like extracts from a citrus fruit, yes...just like the lemon it claims to be made of. Even without opening it at all you can perceive it's citric smell....Amazing isn't it?

LIFE SPAN:

After mixing this 50ML serum with a 400ML lotion which totaled to 450ML, it lasted for 1 month for me. I used it mornings & sometimes in the evenings


PACKAGING:

The green and white design of its cubic paper pack is beautiful. Has the picture of a kinda light skinned model at the back and front of it. The other two sides have the instructions and product promises.

On opening this paper pack, you come across the little plastic bottle / container which contains the serum. It's just exactly like that of an eye drop (Please this serum shouldn't touch your eyes oo..Lol). It's cover is sealed and just a little opening can open it up.
Now, after opening, the actual opening where the serum comes out from has a blockage than can only be opened with the help of a needle or pin.


MY LIKES:

Although, this serum did to me more harm than good, But I love two things about it,

1. Can help with your dark joints & knuckles. Just a very little drop of it on your knees, knuckles before bed can help.
2. Smells fruity.(Like, Yum..lol)


MY DISLIKES:

Citro Clear Lightening Serum however was a disappointment to me, my major dislikes are:

1. Designed my back with Eczema
2. Gave me red spots in several parts of my body
3. Gave me thick rashes all over my chest and neck leaving me with alot of dark spots
4. My body became itchy & irritating. I was even unable to rub cream on my face because of the intense itchy feeling i get from my face.
5. Does not protect your skin from UV/VB rays from the sun
6. Pimples and acne dominated my face.


USAGE GUIDE:

If at all any one of you wanna give this serum a try, or you are already using it, I will advise you buy a very strong medicated soap and use it with it. Medicated Soaps like Crusader, Tura, Rainbow, safe guard ETC may help reduce the chances of this serum reacting to your skin with eczema, rashes & irritation like it did to mine. I am really not sure, but i guess it can.

Keep away from children's reach. keep in a cool and dry place. Avoid sun exposure. External use only. Please read the Manuel before use.

I Bought Citro Clear Lightening Serum yesterday for N350 (Three hundred & fifty nigerian naira) here in nigeria. Remember, price may differ with location and seller.

According to what i see here in the pack, Citro Clear Lightening Serum is made up of PROPYLENE GLYCOL, LEMON EXTRACTS, GLYCERIN, VITAMIN E, SODIUM METABISULFITE, KOJIC ACID, ASCORBIC ACID, FRAGRANCE.

IS CITRO CLEAR SERUM SAFE???

It can be safe & it can be dangerous. But i understand every skin is different, i really dunno if anyone else has experienced the bad side of this serum like i did, or do you think it's the reaction with Vaseline Healthy White Lotion that caused it? Who knows? But this is my honest experience.

shops, stores, & super markets around you should have this serum. also you can check your reputable online stores in your various countries. just look at the photo of it above & don't fall for inferior or imitation.
